Hospitality is very important in this house, located on a lake in the Tiefenbach valley. A wonderful time, whether for short or long holiday stays, is guaranteed here. It is a hotel with every comfort, a restaurant, the possibility to catch trout in the lake and an ideal holiday destination for anyone who wants to really relax.
It all began in 1965. The father-in-law of today’s owner, Helmut Lux, and some friends discovered their passion for trout fishing. Together they built a simple hut on the lake, in which they kept fishing equipment, drinks and more. Soon locals and tourists came who enjoyed this leisure activity. The hut became the restaurant: “Zur Goldenen Forelle”.
In 1975 the current Hotel Restaurant “Haus Tiefenbach” was built. The idyllic surroundings and the cozy inn attracted more and more vacationers. Haus Tiefenbach was expanded in 1988.
